Tazkirah Jumaat

(Riwayat Tirmizi dab Ibnu Hibban)

Sabda Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam bermaksud:

Rasullullah Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam ditanya: "Mengapa demikian ya Rasulullah?"

Baginda menjawab: "Wanita mengkufurkan suaminya dan mangkufurkan ihsannya. Jikalau engkau berbuat baik kepadanya seberapa banyak pun dia masih belum merasa berpuas hati dan merasa cukup."

(Riwayat al-Bukhari)

(Riwayat Muslim)

Ibnu ‘Asakir pula menyebut: "Apabila seorang isteri berkata kepada suaminya, aku belum pun melihat atau merasa nikmat pemberian daripadamu, maka ketika itu gugurlah segala pahala amalan kebajikannya."
2)Menyakiti hati suami

(Riwayat Ibnu Majah)
3)Puasa sunat tanpa keizinan suami

Sabda Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam:

4)Keluar rumah tanpa izin suami

"Apabila perempuan keluar rumah, sedangkan suaminya membencinya, dia

Sabda Rasulallah sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam bermaksud:

Sabda Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam:

Try This Decision Making Process

Not sure what to do? Try the following seven step decision making process the next time you need to make up your mind about something important. And take notes!

1. What are your immediate intuitive feelings?
Make a few notes about your immediate "gut reaction." For example, if you're not sure whether to take a particular job, ask the question, "Should I take this job?" Then jot down whatever comes to mind and how you feel about it.

2. Analyze your intuition.
Even the most intuitive people can't trust their intuition all the time. At best, intuition is the use of all the unconscious information and experience you have. At its worst, it is just feelings based on faulty thinking, greed or fear. Look for these other motivations before relying too heavily on intuition. You want the intuition that is simply an efficient use of your unconscious resources.

3. Gather information.
With or without any intuition, you should always gather information before making a decision. Take notes. Even for a decision like where to go for vacation, you can write down the costs of the various choices, and what things you'll be able to do at each destination.

4. Look at the pros and cons.
What is good about each possible choice, and what is not so good? Write these things down. For any uncertainties, good or bad, write a note about whether the risk or possible reward
is "not very likely," "likely," or "very likely."

5. Consider worst and best cases.
For each possible choice, consider the worst that could happen, and the best that could happen. Which is more likely? How do the various options appear when considered this way?

6. Revisit with intuition.
Review the information you have gathered, and everything else that you have considered. Then make a few notes about how you think and feel about your choices now. This is an important next-to-last step in the decision making process.

7. Choose and act immediately, then adjust course if necessary.
You can be slow about gathering and analyzing information. But at this point - after your second intuitive assessment - it's best to make a decision quickly. Any decision making process should lead inexorably to a decision, or else you are actually training yourself to be indecisive - which isn't very useful, and can be very stressful.

Once a decision is made, you should also act immediately, even if this is some small step. For example, if you decide to write a book, you should turn on the computer and write the first line, or put the pen and paper on the desk. Immediate action trains your mind to treat your decisions as meaningful, and not just wishful thinking. It is an important part of the whole decision making process.

The ABC to keep motivated? Try on the tips from A to Z!

A – Achieve your dreams. Avoid negative people, things and places. Eleanor Roosevelt once said, “the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”

B  Believe in your self, and in what you can do.

C – Consider things on every angle and aspect. Motivation comes from determination. To be able to understand life, you should feel the sun from both sides.

D – Don’t give in and don’t give up. Thomas Edison failed once, twice, more than thrice before he came up with his invention and perfected the incandescent light bulb. Make motivation as your steering wheel.

E -Enjoy. Work as if you don’t need money. Dance as if nobody’s watching. Love as if you never cried. Learn as if you’ll live forever. Motivation takes place when people are happy.

F – Family and Friends – are life’s greatest ‘F’ treasures. Don’t loose sight of them.

G – Give more than what is enough. Where does motivation and self-improvement take place at work? At home? At school? When you exert extra effort in doing things.

H – Hang on to your dreams.

I – Ignore those who try to destroy you. Don’t let other people to get the best of you. Stay out of toxic people – the kind of friends who hates to hear about your success.

J – Just be yourself. The key to success is to be yourself. And the key to failure is to try to please everyone.

K – Keep trying no matter how hard life may seem.

L – Learn to love your self.

M – Make things happen. Motivation is when your dreams are put into work clothes.

N – Never lie, cheat or steal. Always play a fair game.

O – Open your eyes. People should learn the horse attitude and horse sense. They see things in 2 ways – how they want things to be, and how they should be.

P – Practice makes perfect. Practice is about motivation. It lets us learn repertoire and ways on how can we recover from our mistakes.

Q – Quitters never win. And winners never quit. So, choose your fate – are you going to be a quitter? Or a winner?

R – Ready yourself. Motivation is also about preparation. We must hear the little voice within us telling us to get started before others will get on their feet and try to push us around. Remember, it wasn’t raining when Prophet Noh A.S build the ark.

S – Stop procrastinating!

T – Take control of your life. Discipline or self control jives synonymously with motivation. Both are key factors in self-improvement.

U – Understand others. If you know very well how to talk, you should also learn how to listen. Yearn to understand first, and to be understood the second.

V – Visualize it. Motivation without vision is like a boat on a dry land.

W – Want it more than anything. Dreaming means believing. And to believe is something that is rooted out from the roots of motivation and self-improvement.

X – X Factor is what will make you different from the others. When you are motivated, you tend to put on “extras” on your life like extra time for family, extra help at work, extra care for friends, and so on.

Y – You are unique. No one in this world looks, acts, or talks like you. Value your life and existence, because you’re just going to spend it once.

Z – Zero in on your dreams and go for it!!!

QBB Ghee Contains Pig Lard : Aduh!

Entah berapa tahun dah rasanya makan kuih raya & nasi minyak orang kawin. Ni produk wajib dalam masakan orang Melayu. Berikut adalah surat yang ditulis oleh Setiausaha Kumpulan Konsumer Satu Malaysia, En Mohd Kadir Bin Mohd Karim.

2 April 2010
Attention: Ms. Tan Poh Hong
CEO
Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority
5, Maxwell Road
Tower Block, MND Complex
Singapore 069110

Dear Madam

We wish to inform your goodself that for years, our consumer group as many other faithful consumers have been using “QQB” Ghee for various delicacies and religious functions without doubt, with full confidence that the said product is manufactured from the milk of dairy cows by its highly reputable manufacturer based in Queensland, Australia.

However, lately, we found that although the colour and aroma had now varied much, the taste seemed to be somewhat different. Therefore, we investigated this matter and concluded the following matters:

·           Its manufacturer Butter Producers’ Co-operative Federation Ltd (BPCF) addressed as No. 489, Kingsford Smith Drive, Hamilton, Brisbane, Australia had ceased operations in September 2006 and was no longer listed in the website of Australian trade authority being http://www.austrade.gov.au. In fact the satellite picture as the website http://maps. google.com  shows that the following site is vacant land.

·           Printed on the tin is that the said product is manufactured from milkfat of dairy cows of Australia and in even smaller and rather unclear script, it is mentioned that its manufacturer is Q.B.I. Packaging Sdn Bhd, No. 19, Lorong Keluli 1C, Kawasan Perindustrian Bukit Raja Selatan, 41050 Shah Alam, Selangor DE., Malaysia and that the said product is manufactured under license from QBB (Pte.) Ltd., Singapore.

·           QBB Pte Ltd.., Singapore was originally the sole agent for “QBB” Ghee for Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei and it is not clear whether at the time when BPCF ceased operations in 2006, the “QBB” trademark rights were transferred from BPCF to QBB Ptd Ltd., Singapore. We suspect that Q.B.I. Packaging Sdn Bhd and QBB Ptd Ltd., Singapore are together carrying an act of piracy i.e. producing and selling a product whose legitimate manufacturing and sales rights were not transferred to them by its original manufacturer BPCF who was since wound up.

·           The report of an analysis conducted by a reputable food technology laboratory in Australia on the contents of a 2-lb tin of this product, where the said tin was taken from Malaysia to Australia by one of our group members, mentions the following:-
“This product constitutes of decolorized and deodorized lard (pig fat) in semi-solid state with permitted additives giving the product color, flavor and aroma similar to that of pure ghee color, flavor and aroma.” (Original report is with the sender of this letter).

Therefore, our consumer group had to boycott the use of this product as:-

a)      Our muslim members cannot use this product as it is haram by religion
b)      Our Hindu and Sikh members cannot use this product for burning of ghee lamps, religious functions or for preparing sweetmeats as places of worship which forbid the use of any animal oil/animal fat.
c)      Our vegetarian friends who only consume vegetarian diet cannot consume the said product.

We believe that the “QBB Ghee” sold in Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei ever since BPCF closed down, is a product which is violating the related laws on the principle of “misrepresentation of label”. Therefore we hope that your goodself will take the appropriate action to stop the sale of this product.

Thanking you.
Letter signed by Mohd Kadir bin Mohd Karim (I/C No. 601223-10-6157)

Secretary of Kumpulan Konsumer Satu Malaysia (KKSM)

Note: Copy of this letter and analysis report sent to
YAB Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Abd. Khalid bin Ibrahim, Menteri Besar Selangor DE.

It was 2am and I didn't know why i was so eager to watch that match.

"I support the team from the morning to the evening and if I respond and say something a bit out of turn they are going to say I am bitter. You guys (the media) hit me, you attack me from morning to the evening and if I just answer, you tell me I am out of line."
Asked if he drew any strength from the friction with the media, he added: "I don't think there is anything positive you can draw from it. You may not like my answer, but you can criticise me for 24 hours, I can only criticise you for one second, and that is the crux of the matter."
He added: "Without any doubt every day as Brazil coach I feel nervous. It is four years since I've been coaching the Brazil team but I always feel butterflies in my stomach. I am wearing Brazilian colours and I know a lot of people would like to be in my place."
"They are a very quick team, a team that plays close passing football, rapid football and we are going to have to find a way to tackle their style of play," he added.
"We have to congratulate the Asian teams, they have evolved tremendously over the years. They are no longer the weaker team. Sometimes we believe that a certain team is the best, but football does not lie. We have to respect our opponent and do everything in our grasp to win."

Your time is precious! Don't delay!

How often do you find yourself procrastinating and delaying over something?  That the project due next week can wait.  That going back to your kampung with your family to visit your elderly parents can wait.  That the health screening can wait.  That the meal with your best friend can wait.  That your reading can wait.  That your dreams can wait.

Our time on earth is limited.  We do not live forever.  Yet, we seem to forget this and live as if there is always a tomorrow.  We postpone the things we need to do, the time we need to spend with our friends and loved ones as well as our dreams, thinking that time is always on our side.  And we tell ourselves that, one of these fine days, we will find a time to do it.

It is common for students to wait till the last minute before preparing for examination.  It is common for us to file our tax return on the very day of the deadline.  It is not surprising to see passengers arriving at the boarding gate seconds before the gate closes.  But, the problem is, we do not know when the gate will close on us.  There is no guarantee that we will live up to a ripe age of 80 years old, or for that matter, any age.

Don't gamble with time.  The clock is ticking, better hurry.  Don't get busy over things that will not matter at the end of the journey.  Do the things that are close to your heart.  Make time for your loved ones.  If there is something that you have always wanted to do, but have not done so for one reason or another, hesitate no further.  Do it before it's too late as there will not be a last call for boarding to your next destination.

Should You Strive For Perfection, Or Choose Excellence?

When trying to improve any area of your life, you may sometimes find that you have the tendency to try to be "perfect". Some people hold the belief that if you do not go all out and try to become the best, then it is not worth the time or effort. Holding yourself to a high standard is fantastic, but there is a thin line between high standards and perfectionism. In this article I will explain the drawbacks of pursuing perfection and why choosing excellence is the right choice in most situations.

Perfectionism is a personal philosophy of demanding perfection from yourself and accepting nothing less. In most cases, a goal of perfection is unrealistic at best and impossible at worst. This is because perfection often can not be concretely defined and is subjective. For instance, can the perfect body be defined? Ask ten random people to define the perfect body and you will most likely get different answers from every one of them. While there are scientifically supported methods of determining attractiveness and health (such as waist to hip ratio, body mass index, and features like strong jawlines in men), you would be hard-pressed to find universal agreement as to what would constitute the perfect body.

There are exceptions to every rule, and in this case it is no different. In a few specific situations the pursuit of perfection is feasible and almost a requirement. At very high levels of competition where the slightest advantage can be the determining factor, those who are able to hone their craft to perfection are often victorious. An example of this would be Olympic athletes who have a set routine to perform. If they are able to pull off a flawless performance, a medal is pretty much guaranteed.

Another situation when someone should strive for perfection is if there are other people's lives at stake. A definite example that comes to mind would be surgeons that perform major operations. One mistake could not only cost the surgeon his career, but also the life of his patient.

What it all boils down to is making efficient use of your time. Let's say you are writing an article or creating a website. Is it better to spend tons of time trying to make it perfect, or does it make more sense to make it excellent and then move onto other projects? Let me be clear, I'm not saying you should churn out lots of low quality work. The fact is you can only edit and polish your creation so much until you hit the
point of diminishing returns.

The biggest downfall perfectionists experience is all of the good things they miss out on by neglecting the other parts of life. This is seen many times in men who spend all of their time and effort on their careers; they find it very difficult to meet and date women because they neglected their social skills. Life is so much more enjoyable and fulfilling as a well-rounded individual that is excellent in multiple areas of life.

To attain excellence in multiple areas of your life, it is necessary to find the methods and strategies that produce the best results for you. What has worked best for me is focusing intensely on one area of my life until I achieve the degree of excellence I desire, and then move on to my next goal. This approach works best for me because I thrive when focusing on one thing, whereas someone that is better at multitasking might find a different approach to be best.

Life is way too short to waste it by striving to be perfect in just one small facet of your existence. Choose to live a full and rich life. Choose excellence.
